About

Engagement for Electrification is a project by Andrealis Martinez, Sarah Moffatt, Harlee O’Sullivan, Arnaldo Pires, Hanna Qiu, Gracie Rosenberg, Sadie Swayze, and Ashley Zhao, co-created as part of Fall 2023’s Social Impact Studio Creative Expression for Climate Justice at Emerson College, in partnership with Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative.

The project's goal was to create a selection of visually engaging digital assets to educate and strengthen community in FICC’s social media channels while advocating for the electrification of the Fairmount/Indigo commuter rail line.

A Look Inside the Co-Creation Process

A win for the Fairmouint Line is a win for the rest of Boston public transit!

Social Impact Studios, facilitated by the Engagement Lab, give Emerson students and faculty the opportunity to work directly with local grassroots changemakers to co-create media projects that will make an impact in Boston and beyond.

Engagement for Electrification was created as a group project, in Fall 2023’s Social Impact Studio "Creative Expression for Climate Justice," in partnership with Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative.
